Hughes Technical Center, R&D, the Operational Evolution Program (OEP) and international coordination. I brought the FAA and airline industry together to work collaboratively and improve the efficiency of the US airspace system; led the development of FAA’s rigorous investment analysis capability; and contributed to harmonized ATM systems through my work with international organizations such as ICAO and EUROCONTROL.

How I Do It
I help clients reflect on possibilities for the future and better define their desired strategic outcomes. We address the complexity of the business environment by describing the behavior of stakeholders, processes and forces that influence change. I identify variables that have the greatest influence on desired outcomes, often using models and data to study critical mechanisms. I address and rationalize business, policy, economic, operational, human, and technology factors that go into strategy development and assess the pros and cons of strategy options in terms of efficacy, executability, and performance across a range of uncertainties. I help to implement strategic change, evaluate resulting performance improvements and identify needed adjustments.
